My Wedding: Part Three.

I can't believe this is my third and final wedding series post! (insert crying face emoji here.) I love being able to share photos with you all from our special day and I really hope you have enjoyed this series as much as I have enjoyed putting it together for you. In this post I wanted to share details about our ceremony and reception. (You can see my first post about getting ready here and my second post about our first look photos and video here.) 

We had our ceremony in the lush gardens behind the Brasenhill Mansion and I walked down the aisle to the song Who is She from the new Cinderella movie. (surprisingly I didn't cry!) I met my handsome fellow at a beautiful birch archway that was draped in fabric and ivy (thanks for making that, dad!) and we sang a quick hymn and exchanged our vowels- I wanted to keep things sweet and simple. After a kiss and some bubbles, we were officially husband and wife, and that was easily the happiest moment of my life.

After the ceremony, we strolled around the mansion to capture a few more photos (we actually did most of our bridal party shots before the ceremony that way we didn't keep our guests waiting) and then we headed to the reception. Our reception was held on the back patio of the Brasenhill Mansion and boy was it dreamy- cafe lights were strung all around, crisp white linens with pops of blush and greenery covered the tables and the softest piano music filled the air. It was truly everything I had ever dreamed of and more. We indulged in shrimp cocktails, caprese salad and a million other things I can't seem to remember (it was such a blur!) and then Joe and I had our first dance to the song Kiss The Rain by Yiruma. Cutting the cake was next and we were actually nice and didn't smash it in each others faces ha! Our cake was made by my Uncle Brian and it was absolutely breathtaking and oh-so delicious- classic white cake with lemon buttercream and fresh raspberries. Yum! (check out the details down below to see where we bought our cake topper!) The rest of the evening was pretty much a blur, but a beautiful blur to say the least. If I could relive this day over and over again, I would. It was truly magical and I am so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends who helped make my dream wedding come true. XO.

My Wedding: Part Two.

As promised in part one of my wedding series posts, today I am going to be sharing details all about our first look session. For months leading up to our wedding I was 100% sure that I did not want to do a first look simply because I wanted the whole traditional "don't see each other until the bride walks down the aisle thing." But just a few weeks before the big day, I had a meeting with my wedding planner and he sold me on the idea. Basically, he said that first look sessions are a great way for couples to calm their nerves/emotions together before the ceremony which could result in much better (less puffy eyed) photos whilst walking down the aisle. He also said that nothing beats first look photos because they capture beautiful, raw emotions and boy was he right...

I am so pleased that we decided to do the first look session and I can honestly say I was much more calm and relaxed while walking down the aisle. My Wedding: Part One.

How is it that it has taken me almost three months to post these photos? Actually no- how is it that I have been married to the love of my life for almost three months already?! Time is just flying by and I am loving every second of married life. 

There are literally hundreds of photos from my fairytale wedding that took place on September 25th, so I am going to do a series of wedding posts in attempt to sum up the whole magical day. (Honestly the day was a complete blur to me, haha! Thank God I have these photos to look back on to remember everything.) 

My wedding and reception took place at the Brasenhill Mansion in Lebanon, PA and it was everything I could have ever wanted for my dream wedding and more- picture lush green gardens, grand dining halls and a bridal suite fit for a queen.

To start off the day, my girls and I arrived at the mansion early in the morning, eager to start getting dolled up for the big day! My hair stylist Morgan from Downstreet Salon arrived around 10 and started working her up-do magic on our hair while we sipped on mimosas and indulged in chocolate truffles in our little satin robes (mine was from Plum Pretty Sugar and my girls' were from David's Bridal.) We spent the morning giggling, making multiple mascara touch ups and taking lots of photos until it was time for me to slip into my dress to see my man at our first look session- more details to come about that in my next wedding series post, so stay tuned!
