What I Want for Christmas 2017.

I thought it would be fun to share my Christmas wish list with ya'll in case you needed some ideas to add to your own list or maybe you'll see something that might be a great gift to give! This year I kind of struggled coming up with items to put on my list. What is it that I really need?! (I am an impatient person and if I want something I go out and get it right away... I can't wait for Santa to bring it to me ;) LOL. After racking my brain for a while, I finally came up with some items that were suitable for my Christmas wish list. You can check below for all the details!

1.) J. Crew Coat: I work at J. Crew Factory and have been eyeing this beauty up for weeks now. I don't own a gray coat and I think this one would be a great addition to my collection.

2.) Vera Bradley Lunchbox: While I may not be in school anymore, I do pack a lunch for work and having a cute lunchbox like this one would make me smile.

3.) Lululemon Leggings: I have been dying to get a pair of Lulu leggings for a while now but just haven't bit the bullet and gotten them for myself yet. Pleeeeease, Santa!

4.) Floral Phone Case: My marble phone case that I have at the moment is looking a little dull so I thought a pretty floral one like this would brighten things up a bit.

5.) Tarte Highlighter: This is my favorite highlighter and I just ran out! It gives the most gorgeous, natural glow.

6.) J. Crew Necklace: Again, I see this pretty little thang at work every week and I think I need it in my life. Crystal necklaces like this pair with literally anything!

7.) Nike Sneakers: I am trying to get back into the gym again and a cute pair of gray sneakers might make that a little easier.

8.) Mac Lipstick: Mac lippies are my absolute fave! The shade Holiday Crush looks like the perfect "everyday pink."

Honorable mentions: Swell Bottle, Iphone Charger, Bath & Body Works Candles, Fuzzy Blankets

6 Shoes You Need For Autumn.

1.) Cognac Knee Boots- knee high boots are a classic for fall. Pair them with jeans and a button down or with a dress and tights for a timeless autumn look.

2.) Nude Loafers- these beauties are easy to slip on and pair well with just about everything in your wardrobe from corduroys to patterned cigarette pants. Wear them to the office or to brunch with the gals... the options are endless.

3.) Black Ankle Booties- for those days when you want to feel like a bad ass.

4.) Mary Jane Pumps- an uber feminine style that will turn heads. This burgundy pump will add the perfect pop of seasonal color to your outfit.

5.) Hunter Boots- for rainy autumn days where you want to look chic while jumping in puddles. Pair with dark skinny jeans, a sweater and a chunky knit scarf.

6.) Leopard D'Orsay Flats- the purrrrfect way to subtly add a pop of print to your outfit.

Fall Finds From Forever 21.

Forever 21 is usually a hit or miss for me. Sometimes I find really nice, classic pieces there for a steal and other times I find myself saying "everything in here is too young and trendy for me." (lol because I am 21 #grandma.) However, this week while doing some online browsing I actually found some really cute and affordable pieces from Forever 21 that will be perfect for fall! You can shop all my picks down below!

My Top 5 Fall Fashion Trend Picks

Every year around mid August I start to get the Autumn itch and just want to clothe myself in cozy knits and blanket scarves and drink pumpkin spice lattes. So yes it is no surprise that I have already started to do some fall shopping (hello, sweaters and booties!) and whilst doing so, I noticed lots of trends for the upcoming fall season and I wanted to share my favorites with you ladies. Some of these trends I have tried out before and some are completely new to me, but there is no better time to experiment with fashion like the fall. Let me know in the comments what your favorite fall fashion trend is!

Wide Leg Pants

Wide leg pants are making a comeback ya'll! As I said in yesterdays post, I think wide leg trousers are a great alternative to wearing denim and I just can't seem to get enough of them. Not only are they super comfortable, but they make your legs look incredibly long and make you look (and feel!) put together. For Autumn I would suggest looking for wide leg trousers in neutral tones and pairing them with chunky knit sweaters for a cozy look or pairing them with a fitted turtleneck and a bold statement earring for a more chic look.

Floppy Hats

It is soon time to bid farewell to my straw summer hats and break out all of my fall felt hats. Floppy hats are a fall trend that seems to keep coming back year after year and I am more than OK with it. I think a simple felt hat can really take your look to a whole new level. Pair your hat with a cute Autumnal dress, tights and booties or with a cardigan, tee, jeans and flats- the possibilities are endless. (Tip: floppy hats are also a lifesaver for bad hair days!)

Statement Sleeves

One trend that is taking over the fall fashion world right now are statement sleeves! From ruffle sleeves, to tiered sleeves and billowy sleeves and oversized bell sleeves, it seems like just about every store has some sort of statement sleeve option and I can't seem to get enough. I would suggest pairing your statement sleeve top with some dark skinny denim that way the top can do all the talking. (If this trend is a little outside your comfort zone, I would suggest that you start small with something like a subtle bell sleeve and work your way up.)

A Touch of Tortoise

An accessory trend that I noticed while doing my pre-fall shopping was tortoise. Everything seems to be tortoise right now! Earrings, sunglasses, bracelets- you name it! I love tortoise and think it looks so classy and elegant. And yes, this is the only type of hoop earring you'll ever catch me in haha!

Pumpkin Spice

As much as I love pumpkin spice lattes, the orangey-brown color is not something that usually tickles my fancy. But this fall the color rust or pumpkin spice as I like to call it, is making an appearance and is actually very fitting for the season. At first I hated the trend, but the more I see it the more I admire the warm and cozy color. Personally I am going to ease into this trend with something simple like a tee or cardigan; like I said before, there is no better time to experiment with fashion like the fall!

July Favorites.

I'm a bit bummed that July has come and passed so quickly because it's my birth month (yes, I am that girl that likes to celebrate all month long haha!) but at the same time I'm excited for Augusts arrival because that means we are one month closer to fall and all things pumpkin spice, aka the best time of the year!

I've got a few favorites to show you from last month... a few fashion pieces, a little beauty and some home decor- so let's get right into it! The first fashion item that I have been absolutely loving is this basket bag that I thrifted for $5 (!!!!) This little beauty has paired so effortlessly with summer dresses and jean shorts and tees... it really is the perfect summer bag. Here, here and here are a few similar style basket bags in case you want to pick one up for yourself. Next up is this dainty lace bralette from Lively that I have been wearing non stop. It is incredibly comfortable and makes me feel so pretty when I have it on. I wear it under just about all my clothes and even to bed under my pjs. My last favorite fashion item from July are these white espadrilles that I picked up at TJ Maxx. I picked these shoes up on a whim because they were on sale and I am so glad I did because I have worn them so much! I love how they can be dressed up or down and they just look and feel so summery. Here is a similar option to my espadrilles. I've got one beauty favorite from last month and that is this rosewater facial spray by Mario Badescu. I had been wanting to try this out for the longest time and finally made a point to pick it up when I went shopping at the beginning of the month. This spray is so refreshing and smells like a rose garden. I like to spray it on before I apply my makeup, after to set it and all throughout the day when I feel like my skin needs a little pick-me-up. 10/10 would recommend you pick a bottle up for yourself. And my last favorite for July is this book called The Inspired Room by Melissa Michaels. I picked this up mainly because the cover was pretty and I needed one for on my nightstand, but this book is actually really helpful with how to decorate and make the most of the home you have. It's a nice easy read and has the prettiest pictures (and it looks so lovely on a coffee table or nightstand!).

That's all for July!

June Favorites.

How is it July already!? I feel like this year is just flying by so quickly...
With every month comes new products and things that I love, so I thought it would be fun to share with you my monthly favorites from here on out!

Last month I received this lilac candle from my sister-in-law and I lit it almost every single day. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing (hello, marble!) it smells so fresh and floral and fills our apartment with the loveliest scent. I love it so so much. As for favorite beauty products in June, I have three. First up is this priming moisturizer from Glossier which was a life saver after lots of sun exposure. It keeps my skin super hydrated and has a wonderful soothing sensation; I like to apply it on my face before makeup application and then again at night before bed. Next up is this lip balm by It Cosmetics. I love this lippie because it leaves your lips with the most natural looking pink tint- it's perfect for that no-makeup-makeup look. Lastly for beauty favorites, I rediscovered an oldie but goodie from Bare Minerals. This bronzer was my absolute favorite last summer but somehow got lost amongst all my other makeup and I forgot about it for a while. But last month when doing a vanity clean out, I was reunited with it and fell back in love. This bronzer instantly brings warmth to your face and can also be used as a blush or eyeshadow for a summery look. I would highly recommend it. My favorite fashion item from last month was definitely neck scarves. I found myself throwing them on with all of my outfits- I just love how easily they add a touch of glam to your outfit and make you look put together. I just picked up this one from J Crew. My last two favorites are kind of random, but I really loved the show Anne with an E on Netflix (it is such a feel-good show!) and I also loved this blue and white porcelain mug (from Home Goods) which oddly enough inspired a lot of the home decor I have been putting together in our apartment- give me all the blue and white things right now and I will be one happy gal :) Stay tuned for next months favorites!

Summer Hats Under $100.

It is no secret that I am obsessed with hats, especially straw ones for summertime. Joe just said to me the other day "I think you need a new hat because in all your blog posts you wear the same one." Ha! His comment actually inspired me to start looking for another hat to add to my collection. I think for my birthday (which is just 10 days away, July 5th!) I am going to treat myself to this beautiful hat from Cuyana. I think it will pair perfectly with summer dresses and other casual looks. Above are a few other affordable hats that I have my eye on and you can shop them down below. Let me know which one is your fave!

The Perfect Summer Bag.

Straw and wicker bags seem to be all the rage right now and it's easy to see why. These basket-like beauties exude major vacay vibes and are a breath of fresh air compared to dull, winter handbags. While some are definitely investment pieces like this one, there are more affordable (and just as cute!) options like this one to achieve the same summery look. You can shop my favorite bags pictured above by clicking on the links listed below! XO.

Summer Blues.

I will always be a pink gal at heart, but recently I have really been drawn to the color blue and I can't seem to get enough of it, especially for summertime. I feel like blue and white is such a classic combo for summer and just looks so fresh and effortless! Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite blue items from Romwe that are all easy on the budget and will be sure to get your closet summer-ready! Happy shopping!

Favorite Drugstore Beauty Products.

Hello loves! Today I wanted to share with you my five favorite beauty products that won't break the bank and can be easily found at most drugstores. These products are tried and true and are ones that I continue to reach for every single day. First up is this blush in the shade Rose from Physicians Formula. This blush is my go-to for everyday wear (as you can see I have hit pan on this little guy and am soon in need of a new one haha!) I love how this blush has multiple shades of pink in it so with just one sweep of a brush, your cheeks get a nice healthy glow. Next is this Hydrating Milky Mist from Pixi. This mist seriously gives me life. I spritz this on my face when my skin feels like it needs a little pick-me-up and I instantly feel refreshed. Side note: this stuff smells incredible. The next item I wanted to share is this baked bronzer in the shade Soleil from Milani. I love how this bronzer has a bit of a shimmer to it so your skin is left with a sun kissed look. I like to use this bronzer and the little brush it comes with to contour my face! This next product is one that is near and dear to my heart and it's this eyebrow kit from ELF in the shade Light. This little guy is the very first product I ever used on my eyebrows (Thank God I found this when I did because my brows were a hot mess!) While I have tried a few other high end brow products, I found that they were too harsh for me so I recently came back to this product and was so happy with the results. This wax and powder combo allows me to create very natural looking brows that stay in place all day long. Bonus: it's only $3!!! This last product is one that I bought on a whim a few months ago because my eyeliner from Sephora was almost out and I actually ended up loving it more than the one I had from Sephora! It is this waterproof, liquid eyeliner from Black Radiance which can be found at Target. I can't say enough about this eyeliner. I love the felt tip which makes creating winged liner a breeze, I love that this is truly a waterproof liner and most of all I love the price. All in all this is a win-win product for me!

I hope you all enjoyed this post! Let me know in the comments what are some of your favorite drugstore beauty products! Xo.

Spring Picks.

Spring fashion means all things floral and feminine, so it's no secret as to why this is my absolute favorite season. I have been doing a little online shopping recently and I came across a few items that I think would be perfect for the springtime! These floral jeans from One Teaspoon are at the top of my wish list right now, along with a basket bag like this one from Zara. You can shop the rest of my spring picks my clicking on the links down below!

Top 5 Everyday Beauty Products.

When it comes to my everyday makeup routine there are five core products that I never go a day without:

1.) IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better foundation (this has amazing coverage!)
2.) IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye concealer (this really is 8 hours of sleep in a tube)
3.) Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara (people have asked me if I'm wearing falsies when wearing this!)
4.) Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz brow pencil (so many shades and easily applies for perfect brows)
5.) Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (keeps my makeup in place all day long)

My sweater is from She In and is so so comfortable. I love the cozy, oversized fit and the soft grey color- it really is the perfect top for lounging around the house in.

Favorite Coffee Shops and Eats in PA.

Take a look down below for details about my favorite coffee shops and eats in PA!

Passenger (7 W King St. Lancaster, PA) If you have a love for minimalist design, delicious coffee and good company, then Passenger will be your cup of tea (or coffee.) I did a blog post a few months ago when I first discovered this gem located in the heart of Lancaster City and have gone back many times since then. I would suggest indulging in a latte along with one of their biscuits and jam, I promise these goodies will not disappoint. *Passenger is the most Instagram worthy coffee shop I have ever been to so I would highly suggest bringing along your camera.

Terrain (914 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA) Brunch in a greenhouse... need I say more? This quirky little cafe and garden center is a new favorite of mine and it's no surprise because it is actually a branch off of one of my most favorite stores, Anthropologie. The food at Terrain is incredible- each dish is made with locally grown ingredients and they offer a wide variety of coffee drinks and specialty spritzers and lemonades. I would suggest making a reservation ahead of your visit, as this cafe fills up very quickly, especially on Sundays.

Saints Cafe (123 W Beaver Ave. State College, PA) This European-esque cafe holds a special place in my heart because it was the very first coffee shop I had ever been to and is pretty much where my coffee addiction began. The eclectic decor, delicious espresso drinks and warm environment make for the perfect place to curl up with a good book or exchange conversation with friends. Go ahead and order yourself one of their freshly baked pastries and a latte- they are always picture perfect.

Tomato Pie Cafe (23 N Broad St. Lititz, PA) Tomato Pie offers a little something for everyone. They have a great selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as seasonal coffee drinks and pastries. (The ham and brie panini never ceases to amaze me.) There are two different locations, one in Lititz and one in Harrisburg. I prefer the one in Lititz because it is the original location and has so much character and charm to it.

Rachel's Creperie (201 W Walnut St. Lancaster, PA) If you are looking for French inspired crepes with an American twist, then look no further than Rachel's Creperie. Whether you opt for a savory concoction or a crepe that satisfies your sweet tooth, you will not be disappointed with their delicious creations. My personal favorite is the fresh berry cheesecake crepe that is filled with sweetened cream cheese, seasonal berries, graham cracker crumbs and whipped cream. Is your mouth watering yet?

Malvern Buttery (233 E King St. Malvern, PA) This place is what brunch dreams are made of. Toast bar? Check. Pretty lattes? Check. Adorable atmosphere? Check. Malvern Buttery runs a bit different than your average brunch spot- you walk in, find a barista thats strolling around with an iPad, order your beverage and then head over to the food bar and fill your plate with whatever your heart desires (each item on the food bar has its own individual price), you then find a spot to sit at the picnic table style seating and there you will find a notepad and you write down what food items you picked up from the bar, your barista will find you and bring you your drink and take the "receipt" you wrote and they will check you out right there on an iPad. I would suggest getting there as early as possible because seating fills up quickly!
