J'aime Automne.

Weekend excursions in search of new coffee shops is starting to become a regular occurrence for my mother and I. Two weekends ago we ventured over to Gettysburg (see that post by clicking here) and this morning we headed to downtown Carlisle. We ended up having brunch at Helena's Chocolate Cafe & Creperie which was absolutely scrumptious. I devoured a raspberry and nutella crepe, rose macarons and a steaming hot cappuccino in no time. After eating, we strolled around town admiring the historic buildings and pretty autumnal colors on the trees.

It was a beautiful fall day with a crisp breeze in the air so I bundled up in my trench coat that my wonderful boyfriend got me. This trench has quickly become my new favorite coat. The classic silhouette is chic and sophisticated and is a must have in any Parisians closet. Going along with the French theme, I threw on my beret that was a lucky find in a vintage store a few years ago. Leather leggings and booties were the fininshing touch to this look and helped create the illusion of everlasting legs, which every gal dreams of.

Macarons, a trench coat and a beret- it's almost as if I was in Paris. I wish.

  1. Ah love this post! I love all the French accents :) Wish I was in Paris, as well. The beret looks so perfect on you and the coat is fab.
