Summer is long gone and so is that glowy tan that came along with it. *sigh. But there is no need to fret and run off to get a spray tan just yet, because I have a few goodies in my cosmetic bag that are my tried and true go-to's to brighten dull winter skin.
My first step to achieving that dewy summer glow, is this anti-aging collagen booster by Ole Henriksen. After your usual skincare routine of cleansing and toning, apply this serum both morning and night and in just a few days your skin will start to have that glow-from-within look. (My husband even noticed my skins radiant appearance the first week I started using it!) My next little tip is to add just a drop or two of Vita Liberata's Body Blur into your foundation and blend as usual- this gives your skin the most natural luminous and bronzy look. For a little bit more color on your winter skin, try topping your foundation with a bronzer. I love the self tanning bronzer from Vita Liberata. With a light hand I simply apply the bronzer to the high points on my face (forehead, cheekbones, nose, etc.) for a sun kissed look. For a more budget friendly option, I also enjoy this baked bronzer in the color Soleil by Milani which can be found at most drugstores. The finishing (and my personal favorite) step to brighten dull winter skin is a highlighter. As you can see, this highlighter by Tarte has been well loved by me for quite some time now, but I also love this one from Colour Pop which is a more budget friendly option. Apply it to the top of your cheekbones for a super glowy finish.
