Home for a week.

When I first moved to southern Georgia after getting married in September, so many people asked me if I would miss living in PA and my answer was "ehhh, not really." But after being away from home for 8 months I started to realize that my heart belongs in PA. Sure living at the beach has its perks, but I was missing mountains, forests and most importantly, my family. Sometimes it takes being away from home to really appreciate all that it has to offer.

I actually wasn't planning on visiting home until August for my sisters bridal shower, but God knew I was starting to get homesick so He stepped in and gave me an opportunity to come home for a week. Long story short, my in-laws were visiting Joe and I last week and they came up with the idea to bring me back home with them to PA so I could spend some time with my parents. So without telling my parents, I packed my bags, drove 14 hours with my in-laws and surprised my parents late Saturday night! It was perfect.

There are so many places that I want to visit this week while being home in PA so my parents and I are trying to fill each day with as many activities as possible. The first stop on my checklist was my favorite coffee shop, Passenger. So on Sunday morning, my parents and I woke up bright and early and made our way to Lancaster City for some lattes, tea and sweet treats. I wore this comfy striped tee shirt dress from Tobi paired with a fun necklace, sneakers and a top knot for an effortless casual look.

It feels so good to be home.
