Last Friday my family and I spent the evening at Memorial Lake and it really felt like summertime. The air was warm, people were fishing and paddle boating, and I was totally relaxed while walking around the trails, admiring the scenery. There really is just something about being lakeside that makes you feel like your on a summer vacation, no matter how close you actually are to home.
For the evening at the lake, I wore this navy and white striped dress from Duffield Lane. This dress is so comfortable and easy to slip on for everyday wear. I wanted to go for a nautical look so I paired the dress with my favorite Jack Rogers sandals and a bold red lip!
