Amelia Island.

I had been begging Joe to take me to Amelia Island for weeks now ever since I read Gal Meets Glam's post about it here. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous (sunny and 90 out!) so we decided that it would be the perfect day to make the hour long trip down to Florida. Amelia Island is absolutely adorable with blocks upon blocks of little shops, cafes and historic buildings. Our first stop was Amelia Island Coffee where I got an iced latte with homemade caramel syrup and Joe got an iced Americano- a must have on such a hot day. With iced coffees in hand, we made our way in and out of a few antique shops and then we stopped for a sweet treat at Fantastic Fudge (we got chocolate-peanut butter fudge to share and it was scrumptious!). After exploring downtown, we made our way over to the beach for a little R&R. I wore this darling off the shoulder dress from Romwe along with this engraved bar necklace from Wrapped In Happiness. (It has Joseph's name on it- how adorable!?) Dainty gold necklaces like this are my favorite because you can wear them with just about everything- a definite must have in your collection!

All in all it was a perfect afternoon spent at Amelia Island and I can't wait to go back again soon.
